The Exploitation and Sustainability Strategy outlines the overall vision and main goals of sustainability, the SE4Ces main outputs and the way they are to be further disseminated, as well as the main action lines towards sustainability backed up with two scenarios for covering the resources needed. The first step for the follow-up of the project has already been taken with the submission of an EMDM application in February 2024 to help the partners prepare for an application (February 2026) for the implementation of the International Master in Social Economy with the help of an EMJM grant. In addition, certain steps are a continuous effort that will also extend after the EMJM proposal submission. These include the continuation of the discussions with interested Higher Education Institutions and SE umbrella organisations that wish to join the SE4Ces team for the preparation and actual implementation of the International Master. The third main step relates to the enlargement of the Community of Practice on Social Economy Education – that has reached during SE4Ces 600 members. The dissemination efforts will be retained for at least 3 more years through the website, the newsletter and the social media presence, and will further intensify throughout the “IM SE4Ces” grant and the consequent EMJM action, if approved, and beyond its life-time.
Remarkably, the SE4Ces consortium has been enlarged from 9 to 11 partners in the IM SE4Ces EMDM proposal even though 3 of the initial partners were not able to continue. The grant to be secured by the IM SE4Ces proposal if approved, will only be able to cover a very small fraction of their time to prepare the necessary steps for the submission of the EMJM application in Feb 2026. This is proof of a very committed and determined CoP in Social Economy Education and of a sound basis for collaboration that can lead the future endeavors of implementing the International Master to success.
